Walking Dead

That was Daryl and Glen meeting Bob for the first time, asking him the questions we saw Rick asking people in the woods.

When Bob went on the supply run and the walkers & helicopters fell through the roof, trapping Beth's boyfriend, there was a scene on the ledge during the escape where he struggled to keep his grip on a knapsack or bag or something...turned out it was because he had booze in it. At that point, Daryl went all up in his face and one of the things Daryl said was "I should have left you alongside that road where I found you", or words to that effect. In other words, he regretted bringing Bob into the group because his alcohol addiction and attempts to hide it caused the chain of events leading to the deaths in the store.

A side note: The flashback confused me too, because I couldn't figure out how he had lost Sasha & Maggie, and his shoulder wound was missing. He also looked "fresher"...not quite as beat up, overall. Then I saw he was drinking a Nyquil knockoff in the culvert cell that he built for himself. When Daryl & Glenn confronted him I figured it out. I'm kinda slow...

It was definitely in the past. Daryl mentions in the first half of the season that he should have left Bob on the side of the road.

A-HA...this is what I was looking for.

Bob has quickly become the most intriguing character for me. Is he immune? If so, is there linkage of immunity to his alcoholism / Army service? It'd be pretty cool to find out that liver damage from booze could save your life...

I like the army angle, maybe he was working on this disease and it got out of the lab.

I am on the way to the liquor store now!

Close, but you're actually confusing two different episodes. Bob did grab the booze which caused the shelf to fall and the roof to collapse early on. It was a later episode that bob was dangling over the roof trying to grab his booze. That was the episode where him and Darryl and Tyrese IIRC went to the vet college to get medication after the flu had hit the prison. That's when Darryl told him he wished he'd left in on the road because he didn't get any medicine.

Aw, crap...my bad! Sorry to whoever I misled!

Didn't see anyone mention it yet, and I read this on another site, but apparently the group that found Darryl is the same group that was in the house with Rick a couple episodes ago. Totally missed that.

I caught that. I recognized the leader.

It's setting up for a big confrontation when the gang tries to hunt down Rick. Daryl can then save the day.

I'm interested in who took Beth. Not sure if it was the new gang or not as it was only one car. Interested to see where they go with that.

How many episodes are left this season? They seem to be setting up a bunch of new plot points so it will be interesting to see where they all go/intersect.

Looks like three more...and IMdB already has a plot description for the season 5 opener (although they list the last three episodes of season 4 by name only, with no synopsis).
