Walking Dead

I don't think it's that far fetched that someone's accent can change. Girl from my school moved to Alabama summer before senior year. Saw her over x-mas break and she sounded like she grew up there.

And the scumbag mayor from Sons of Anarchy is now on the show. I guess he made it out of Charming alive when the ZA hit.

They seriously need to move the show along, its getting stagnant. Just get to Terminus already

The preview during talking dead definitely brought me back to fallout 3, since the song 'maybe' was featured in it, and both are obviously in the post-apocalyptic genre.

They're due for one of the main people to get bitten by a walker. It's been a while...

I was worried for Daryl when Beth said something about proving she could get along without him and then he gets cornered by all those walkers, yikes.

Talking Dead preview looks like maybe getting some background on one of Carol's children of the corn?

My Grandma moved from England as an adult and lost the accent within a couple of years. Could always turn it off and on for jokes tho.

Daryl and Beth are a match made in heaven!

Beth looks like a little kid, especially next to Daryl. I was feeling kind of creeped out by the chemistry they were trying to generate. I thought she was like 15-16. So, I looked her up and she is actually 28 in real life. I would have never guessed.

Yeah this show has been a real snoozer since the break.

Beth's character really has me intrigued. I really thought her and Carl might get in on. Now her and Daryl? Huh? So weird either way.

It was nice having an episode without that effing kid again. Carl sucks.

I don't see anyone talking about it so at the risk of seeming like I'm not paying attention...what was that at the beginning of the show? When was that? Is that how Bob came onto the show?

He states that "It doesn't matter" which seems to indicate he doesn't believe he can die or that whoever he hooks up with is doomed, or both. He mentions that the only person he killed asked him to. "She" asked him to. Has that been covered, is it foreshadowing? i.e. is he talking about Sasha/Maggie?

That was Daryl and Glen meeting Bob for the first time, asking him the questions we saw Rick asking people in the woods.

So, Glen and Daryl just showed up with Bob in the back of a truck at some point during the series? I don't remember that. Can anyone provide some context? Or explain why we needed to see that?

THe start of last season was flashed forward like 9 months or so. During that time they let a bunch of new people into the group, including Bob.

That beginning and the whole "He bit the bandage" makes me think that Bob may have some immunity and lead to a cure.

Ahhh, so Bob was just "there". New guy Bob.

Good call on the immunity thing. Wasn't Bob's background that he'd been in the Army when it all went down. I still hope we saw some foreshadowing about him mercy killing Sasha/Maggie. This show need more gut wrenching character deaths and fewer joyous reunions...which are no doubt coming.
