Stevie Clark Arrested

Okie State is about to become a dumpster fire. Nash, Smart and Brown all gone after this season and they are about to drop below the APR "red line" which will wipe out scholarships.

Grandstaff will hopefully transfer here after a year.

He hasn't signed so no need to transfer. Clean breakup.

So what's this I hear about Forte hurting his ankle at the end of the Baylor game? Is it true? Sounds awfully like the Kane injury.

That is a big hit to OSU. He was Smart's replacement at PG and is pretty talented.

That being said, I can see the team pulling together and really going all out for the win tonight knowing that they are so short-handed. The best thing for ISU would be to get up early or at least stay with them early.

Played 11, 11, and 21 minutes in the last 3 games. OSU now only has 6 players that average over 7 minutes a game. This would be similar to us losing Naz imo. Part of our 7 deep but our last player of that 7.

How I'm looking at it, I wouldn't feel great about losing Naz and asking SDW to step up for 10 minutes a game.

Could this be the year we break through in Stillwater? Things are seemingly lining up for us....3 near close calls the past 3 times there.....Okie St facing issues with their best player (not playing like the player he can be, settling for jump shots), ISU is healthy, Okie St. now missing 2 players....one to injury, and one for ******* out of a car.....Dare we say it is the best time to win down there in a generation? Just think ISU has won in Lawrence at least 3 times since the last time we have won in Stillwater....When was the last time we won in Columbia? I think a Tim Floyd team did, and the great LE 2000 team did.....

For some reason I feel like I'd rather play them full strength. I think it's a scary notion to play a team that's dropped 2 in a row and just lost someone from their 7-deep. Seems like the kind of situation where they will really rally the troops and give us their best shot.

Not an outcome changer in tonight's game imo, but it hurts them next year.

This ^. OSU will feel the affect of this loss this year, especially with Smart being foul-prone. He has been ramping up minutes and is second on the team in assists.
However, Clark was a top 60 recruit (per ESPN) at PG coming in last year, the plan was to have him be Smart's replacement once he jumped to the NBA. He was by far their highest rated recruit last year and was to be in-line for major minutes next year. One of the reasons, he was given a long leash to keep him on the team. It's a blow to their program.

Even though OSU is down to 6 players, it's a pretty darn good 6:

Marcus Smart - 6'4''
Markel Brown - 6'3''
Le'Bryan Nash - 6'7''
Phil Forte - 5'11''
Brian Williams - 6'5''
Kamari Murphy - 6'8''

On the bright side, look at those heights... We match up well.

I think OSU may throw this guy on this floor to get some minutes tonight: Leyton Hammonds - Yahoo! Sports
