Welp, it was fun. ISU is great at doing just enough for you to care and then kicking you in the crotch.

For the love of all that's holy, bring in the Gimp and never let him out of the basement again.
One thing about the Rhoads era that has made me want to punch babies is the end of the 1st half execution in like 90% of the GD games! There's always a score for the other team just waiting to be had as long as they bother to get on the field.
The good new is ours have been playing with heart. I am disappointed to give up the lead but we have looked pretty decent on d. As long as we make better adjustments than they do we still have chance. Of course our second half adjusments have looked pretty ****** so far this season. Lets home today is different.
What a bad string of events:
-OU defender makes great play while Woody blocks "air" down-field on 2nd and 15 to limit SJ to 10 yards
-Woody has pass hit him on leg. ISU settles for FG
-Mess calls a sweep to the short side of the field. ISU punts
-OU returns punt for TD
Yep, that sounds about right for this season.
On the positive side, Wally and the defense are showing how much better they are when the offense does something other than 3 and outs.

ISU will stop OU on the first possession and put points up on our first. OU is not good. We can run the ball on them all day and hit Bibbs as LBs flow to stop run. OU can't pass against their scout team so we will continue to give them problems in their run game. Don't lose faith because of one bad STs play.
I love how conservative we are. Get the ball at the 43, 2:53 left in the half with the wind and our mentality is to play keep away and if we score it's just a bonus. F that.
If Baylor gets the ball in that situation they are trying to score ASAP. Who cares about giving them the ball back on a quick 3 and out.
That's not a Messingham mentality, that's from the head coach. Might as well keep Mess if the head coach isn't going to change his outlook on offense ever. Tom Herman sucked here, yet was good at Rice and is good at OSU.

Im with you!!!! ISU with less than 2 minutes left is freaking awful... ESP in first half... I think we have given up three hail marys in less then 2 seasons... That has to be a NCAA record for sucking.
