Three Biggest Hilton Complaints (Not Concessions)

Man, I hope this toilet thing doesn't swing Vaughn the wrong way this weekend. When top recruits are visiting UNC, KU, and Kentucky, you know they ain't flushing their own toilets.

I TOTALLY agree about the flag-bearer and the numbnuts that just HAVE to leave at the three minute mark. Tooting my own horn here, but I like to think that I was part of fixing that...I did a lot of talking to the supervisors of the "guards" a couple of years ago. I mean, if they're just standing there the whole game, they can be useful for a minute or two, right? So now they nicely ask people to wait on the steps if he's almost there so that he can get by. The last corner still seems to be a problem, tho...

I always thought it was the alley shouting "the ball is bigger than the hoop" and "block that kick" and all the others. That's the band?

Regardless - don't get rid of the pep band...they add to the game atmosphere so much better than canned music (which also has its place, but can be overused at times).

My gripe: People, if you just HAVE to leave before the game is over, don't stand up at your seats and spend 10 minutes putting on your coats, saying goodbye to your seatmates, checking to see if you've got everything WHILE THE GAME IS GOING ON! There are people behind you who still want to see the court.

Grab your stuff and carry it down to the concourse, then put your coat on. Either that or wait for a time out, or better yet, WAIT 'TIL THE END OF THE GAME!

Yes.

Studnets can still come - they just need to donate and buy tickets like the rest of us.
We do buy tickets and I would almost guarantee that nearly every single one of us gave more money to the university in the past year than you. Now I could be wrong, maybe you are T. Boone Pickens 2.0 but we'll keep our seats, thanks.

I think his comments may have been somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but regardless - count me as one of those old people that loves having you guys right where you are, and misses your spirit at games played during breaks. :)

At this point we might as well just expel all the students. They don't do **** for the university, money wise. So much more money could be made if the profs could just focus on their research.

Sadly I'm a pep band alum and even I agree that they should cut the corny chants. I didn't like them when I was in the band and would prefer they just scream like everyone else.

On the other end of the spectrum I still think the band playing is much more important and effective than canned music.

Let me offer a compromise. Maybe the band could do this just a few times each half. It would be less annoying, maybe a bit entertaining, and more effective.

Also, I'm responsible for the Delta Dental Smile Cam. Sorry.

There is nothing good about who you are or what you do.

This is somewhat what it had become. The chants had sort of died off while i was in it it seemed like.

Okay - now I won't holler at you for the first three...

Haha, I already hollered at him before his second post made it obvious, oops!

At least I wasn't the only one:

Ohhhh you mean like paying 8-21 grand a year to go to school here?? Or buying tickets along with that??
