Josh Cunningham

I hope TH's source updates him after the ISU staff meets with Cunningham. I am not a fan of hearing, "[Recruit] visited/met with ISU today" and then we never hear how it actually went. With that said, do we still not know how positive/negative Cunningham's official visit went a few weeks ago?

He had a good visit by all indications. I do think he is a bit torn between us and Bradley at the moment. Hopefully Fred can seal the deal.

If you have been following the recruitment of Cunningham you won't be expecting to hear anything. Everything has been kept close to the vest.

Maybe he's saying that Cunningham will commit today, without saying it.

that's what I take it as. Saw lot's of people speculating that we'd cool on Cunningham or he already cooled on us.

Got a lot of games to go, and at the end of the year, there's going to be 3-4 players not happy with their playing time. We'll find out who's transferring then.
 
Ask any coach in any sport. Oversigning is not an uncommon thing. Things happen in the offseason that you can't control - family member gets sick, not happy with playing time, home sick, etc...

Exactly, which is why the speculation now is so mindless, and does no good for anyone. I doubt the players read these threads, but if they do....some of you should be embarrassed. You're saying things in here I'm willing to bet you would not have the nerve to say to their faces. It's idiotic.

Attrition/transfers are a part of college basketball now, but that does not mean that we need to speculate on who is leaving next year when the recruiting is not yet completed, and the team has not even played the first official game of this season. It's a complete waste of time, because honestly, none of us really have any insight about these players.

He receives questions all the time and that is definitely one of them.

Cunningham cooling on us is a fair question. He may not like how the PT stacks up now.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think anyone was thinking we'd cooled on Cunningham. I can only speak for myself, but I just wondered if it would decrease the likelihood of Cunningham coming here if he wants big minutes from day 1. I thought the attraction of Bradley was it being close to home and that he could play immediately.

I saw a lot of speculation that since Vaughn is still on the table that CFH would hold onto that last open scholarship just for him.
 
Any post on players leaving were deleted even if you weren't the one speculating. I quoted someone who speculated and I defended that player and it was deleted. I have no problem with it though, I hate when names are dropped on a public site. Especially when the two names dropped played good minutes in the exhibition game.

I wasn't online earlier when this was reported, but I can help provide info. This sequence of posts explains mass deletions pretty well - it works with anything that isn't smart for the site or the fan base (personal attacks, bagging on potential recruits, speculating on players leaving). Mods delete all posts that either make the questionable post or quote it. It's too much work to go into each and edit it.
