Breaking Bad

I think his connection to his family is over and they never take his money, unless they don't know it is from him. I don't think the ricin is for Walt, he might as well let the cancer get him. I don't know if Walt wants to kill the Grey Matter people or not. They screwed him out of his lifes work, but I'm not sure if that would be enough for Walt to kill them. Bazooka is for Todd and the Nazis.

Walt dies from violence, but gets what he wants to do done when it comes to his final plan. I have no idea who the ricin is for. I don't know how he could slip it into anyones drink/food except maybe the Grey Matter people.

Interesting note and maybe mentioned and I missed it. Walt and Jesse could pull something off together. Those two only have each other if they could work together and possibly Todd. Who knows.

I don't think they will repair their relationship. Jessie is at fault for Hanks death and Walt losing his empire, Walt ordered Jesse executed. Considerable bad blood.

Doesn't Walt have to be taken into custody, or at least make some sort of confession to get Skyler off the hook? If that doesn't happen, the DA will be trying to pin a lot of this on her as they have no Walt to throw the book at.

That would surprise me. When Walt told Jesse that he was right there and watched Jane die, I think at that point Jesse wanted to be dead. If Jesse gets the chance, he will do anything to kill Walt, IMO.

I gotta think any chance of friendliness between Walt and Jessie is dead.

DA can try to do whatever they want, but you have to have evidence.

Walt then calls the DEA to surrender. But he sees Gretchen and Elliot on Charlie Rose. Even though Walt's cancer always seemed to be the catalyst for his descent, it seems the Gray Matter debacle might be the true root of his evil.

Gould: I think that's what the whole episode is about. In a weird way, Walt comes to a dead end in this episode and something happens in that moment and he sees that he maybe has another move left. There's an awful lot that's happening in that moment. That's a big moment for the series, and I think all the implications of that moment are going to surprise most of our viewers.

Is the final episode two hours? I dont see how they can tie up all the loose ends and wrap everything up in an hour episode.

Magnets and Train were first half of season 5 where Jesse was clean. Rest of the show he was a self destructive druggy loser. That being said he is a good guy, and cared about people, which is cool.

Jesse didn't really outsmart Walt in the desert though, Hank was the brains behind that operation. And when you think about it after everything was said and done Jesse was the one that was taken hostage, so who outsmarted who?

Good point.

I think Jesse, sadly, is one of the best people on the show. Yeah he's got issues, but he actually feels remorse and shows human emotions. I want to see him make it out of there alive and have Walt be the one to free him right before he dies. There's always been the father/son relationship between them even though WW has effed it up so many times.

Something has to bring this all full circle. There are no coincidences in this show.

1 hour and 15 minutes like last night, but the extra 15 minutes only translated into 6 extra minutes of show. The previous episode was 48 actual minutes of show and last night was 54.

Ok, this makes me think he is going to use Gray Matter to funnel money the they "owe" him to his family. Clean money from his contribution to the company. His sons "birth right".

The thing is, the family doesn't want his money. And I think he is too angry at those people to make a deal with them. He wants revenge and to prove them wrong.

I loved the use of the original opening soundtrack last night too. First time the series has done that.

I thought they used to use it more regularly at the end of the show, but I could be wrong. Either way, I enjoyed it as well.

Edit: Yes I was wrong, I did not read that article before posting.

Saul seemed genuinely concerned that Walt was leaving her to face the music by herself. Also seems like Marie might be willing to testify against her since she knows that Skyler has known about Walt's actions for some time.

IMO, if Walt is truly concerned about taking care of his family, this is something that needs to be addressed. Guess we'll see.
