Breaking Bad

Skyler doesn't know all the things that Walt has done. She knows he cooked meth and made millions, but she doesn't know that HE has commited murders. If she did, do you think she would handle things differently? That's what I wonder... That and... does Jesse go through with burning down Walt's house? It just keeps getting more exciting the closer it gets to the end!

Since the name of the show is 'Breaking Bad', I fully expect Hank and Marie to 'Break Bad' in the next episode, especially now that they have their backs against the wall. Seems that every other major character in the show has to this point, besides Walt Jr.

I'm thinking Hank and Marie will do something that blows peoples minds, but what??? So many options. Does Hank swallow his pride and take a payoff from Walt? Not likely. He is a stubborn SOB, and he now has nothing but hatred towards Walt. Still, it is an option. Do Hank and Marie still fight to get Walt's kids? Does Hank kill Walt? I love how unpredictable this show is!

Kind of pointless to sit here and debate the morality of all that is happening. If this was real life, yeah I'd probably go and kill Walt myself. But it's a fricking show, and I have been all in on Walt's character, and virtually nothing is going to get in my way of wanting Walt to win. By the way tm3308, you are annoying, and I have skipped every one of your posts since page 29 or 30. Why are you here anyway, don't they have a breaking bad blog at caukeye nation?

1. Yeah well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
2. No, HN doesn't really have much BrBa discussion going on.
3. I'm banned from the HN forums until Thursday (apparently using swear words when there's a filter is very bad).

Well I guess it's good to see you're an equal opportunity garbage poster.

Jesse won't burn down the house. He'll go into the baby girl's room, realize what he's doing, and run out. He goes to Hank to turn himslef in.

I think Hank ultimately decides he has to take the opportunity to turn Walt in. I think Walt will try and escape, maybe fake his own death. I think Hank arrests Skylar and Jesse, and Walt decides to use the ricin on Jesse for betraying him.

I think Walt's going to spend some time on the run and in the final episode, decide to reclaim his empire from Lydia, Todd, and the skinhead gang.

She surely knows he killed Gus. Didn't he call and tell her he "won"?

I think Skyler is smart enough to realize that he is probably responsible for a lot of deaths. I don't think anything that has happened in the past will change where she stands. But I do expect something to happen this season that gets her to turn on him.

Hank's still got some part to play but after that "confession" I have no idea what his options are. I think he might be obsessed and angry enough to go with a nuclear option where he doesn't care if he goes down with Walt.

I like that scenario

Walt's infamous "I am the one who knocks" monologue was a direct reference to his having Gayle killed. Skylar knows he's a murderer, she just doesn't want to know the details. It doesn't stop her from laundering all that money though. No wonder she didn't take the out that Hank offered her in the diner. She knows she is going down in the end.

Todd and Company are going to start cooking up the blue sky in the ABQ area again. How that is going to unfold is going to be interesting to say the least. With the blue sky back in the area, Hank will think Walt is back in business. I think the "breaking bad" moment for Hank will be to give up on turning in Walt if Walt tells Hank who is cooking the new batches (Todd). It will be like a "fine, you won, you got away with it but you're done cooking and you're going to tell me who is currently cooking now so it is completely off of 'his' streets." The DEA will win if that is the case. No more blue sky and Walt is out of the game.

I don't think the writers and Vince Gilligan are going to leave anything to the imagination. Everything will be final once the last episode airs. I don't see them having Walt reclaim his empire and then end the series.

If Walt turned out Todd, wouldn't Todd rat out Walt? Frankly, I am surprised Walt hasn't killed Todd, his whole family, and Lydia yet.

I see where you're coming from but that is far too happy and peaceful. I see the chaos going into overdrive up to the end and only 1 or 2 main characters being alive or having a decent ending.

Maybe you guys can help me out a little, because I want to make sure I understand how Lydia knows who Todd is and how all of that came together.

Todd worked with Walt, who showed him how to cook. It was also through Todd that they took out all the people in prison at the same time. No one besides Walt or Mike really knew Lydia, I didn't think at this point.

Walt, Mike and Jesse, also met up with that other dealer that they were going to sell their hijacked ingredients to, but ended up selling their finished product to I believe. They also started shipping their stuff overseas.

So when Walt got out, he must have hooked Lydia up with the other dealers, who used Todd as a cook. Then the other dealers fired Todd, which I believe they referred to when he said it wasn't working out with Todd. Which was right before Todd and Co. came and took them all out.

So is that how Lydia got into business with Todd and his uncle?

If I remember correctly, Bryan Cranston was on Leno's show and he said there will be no loose ends when the show stops, and it will be wrapped up with a little bow on top. I hate to wish away a weekend, but I can't wait for Sunday. At least football starts to keep my mind off it for now.

I'm guessing Todd was delivering the meth to Lydia when he was cooking with Walt. I know I saw scenes where Todd was delivering the meth to Declan (or his gang) in the desert. I also know Lydia was present when the meth was dropped into the barrels destined for the Czech republic. I can't remember if I saw Todd in those scenes, but it would make sense that Todd did the deliveries.
