Dang, thought we had a real chance to land a difference maker....maybe one of the other guys we already got in West, Harris or Daley can be that difference maker....

We need a Blackmon to develop and make our offense really explode!

Would have been nice, but I see some real difference makers that are signed or will.
 
Would have loved to get him. Oh well, I still think Quan West has a good chance to be a stud WR for us
 
So on the ISU Rivals board there is a thread that a four star FB player is transferring to Iowa State but they said they can't announce until classes start. First thought is that it's Montgomery who is transferring from USF.

Thoughts?
 
So he would sit this year and have 3 years left?

6'5" Lazard on one side, 6'3" Montgomery on the other, Mister in the slot. WOW!
 
According to someone on that thread on rivals, he would have three to play after sitting this year, correct.

6'5" Lazard on one side, 6'3" Montgomery, 6'3 Dondre Daley, 6'1 Quenton Bundrage, and 6'3 Emmanuel Bibbs at TE added to the mix.....that's your top 4 with a nifty TE thrown in as well...for 2014. That's an incredible bunch of young talent at WR, and with Mister, Wesley and a few others developing with and behind them we are going to have a dangerous offense. Its going to be fun to play QB at Iowa State.

That's if it is Montgomery who is the player being talked about...and that's if this is even a true rumor at all.

I said that as a blind guess after digging around the internet a little while looking for recent football transfers. It's legitimately just throwing **** against the wall and seeing what sticks.

Just left USF, had taken an official visit to ISU, and now this rumor. Generally where there is smoke, there is fire. We've learned this the hard way to many times.

Don't sleep on 6 foot 4 Quan West. I think he will be a nice player in a year or two.
