I hate the phrase "all but". Why is it a phrase? It means the exact opposite of what it is supposed to mean. I never use it and it's dumb. Dumb dumb dumb.

I saw a guy in an ISU sweater at BBB yesterday. Think he and (I assume) his wife were finishing up their registry. Was going to say Go Cyclones! but it would have been a little creepy. I'd had a false alarm with a Minny shirt earlier that day, so this was pretty exciting.

Cowgirl and Cowguy are swingers. They are looking for fellow ISU cheese eaters to "hang" with. I mean literally hang with, from their swing.
it's not creepy. i yell that all the time if i'm outside of iowa and see a shirt with the good guys on it.
well it was one of those deals where I saw them further away in the parking lot and then, while picking out my thing, somewhat creepily watched for them to come in and confirm that it was indeed, an ISU shirt. Then I would have needed to follow them to their side of the store to say something. That seemed excessive to me.
How slightly? Is it enough that you could work late and switch with someone that you think wouldn't notice?
