Big Monday games

Maybe they can be talked into it, but the crowds (or lack thereof) at Baylor and OSU should make them unlikely to get multiple Big Monday home games.

We know where the best game-day atmosphere is.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the ISU @ OSU game on Big Monday with how that game has gone down in Stillwater the past 3 years.

Schedule comes out at 10:00 today. Hoping for two Big Monday games for ISU.

We got two! And the KU game is the first one of the year.

Kansas at Iowa State (Jan. 13)

Iowa State at Oklahoma State (Feb. 3)

Nice to get 2, especially against those 2 teams. I think it shows a little growing respect for ISU and Fred matching them up with marquee teams like KU and OSU.

* Also, I know football drives everything but I think the big 12 has settled into a really tough, exciting basketball conference. The round robin scheduling combined with just how hard it is to win on the road in the big 12 makes for great TV. Loved this quote from the link

"The Big 12 is the only conference in the nation where every coach has guided a team to the NCAA Tournament. In addition, nine of 10 teams have been ranked in the top 25 since 2009, with seven squads welcoming incoming classes this season that rank among the top 40 of the ESPN.com recruiting rankings for the class of 2013."

That seems about right to me. You really can't argue with the Big 12 slate of games.

Surprised there aren't any KU/OSU games on Big Monday this year. I'm guessing one of those will be on Gameday though.
