Jack Trice throw backs

Now it's time for cool promotions like "1920s prices" on concessions.....that'd be fun.

I think they are awesome and unique, I would love it if we would switch to them full time. Although sticking the number in the corner would be sweet.

I think they are pretty good. I agree it would have been nice to display them on Thursday night against Texas, but the athletics department probably felt they needed to do them against Iowa since Iowa did theirs against us last year.

EDIT: I also really like the gold color of the pants.

With all the uniform chatter, it seems we need to have a fashion show. Guys love to make fun of chics and their fashion obsession - but this really isn't much different. :)

This was my thought too. I don't care for that and I wish they had the old school I or cyclone logo instead of the number on the helm. Still cool though.

My thoughts exactly. The mock up had the white numbers outlined in crimson & they flowed into the jersey much better. I know this is being picky, but the white numbers look like the iron-on variety were just thrown on as an afterthought. A little change (outlining them) makes a bit of a difference to me.
Still like the jerseys a lot.

So does anyone know how much the game worn jerseys went for at the auction in 2007?

A chick's choice of makeup or clothing just gives a presentation of her personality or work role.

The uniform ISU puts on the field is part of the product they are selling. So if the chick is possibly a prostitute then maybe the analogy works?

I like them. If we are really going for the authentic look, then I think these are awesome and very appropriate. They didn't have pro combat style uniforms in the 1920's... they had simple designs with basic numbers. These are badass, and much better than that **** stain hawkeye uniform last year

I like the design...always liked the design (although, I don't understand the gold on the back, white on the front, numbering and lettering scheme. It needs some sort of outline). What I don't like is the apparent quality of the fabric and the fit...makes it a little frumpy. I'm kind of glad these are going up against Iowa now.
