But, you do make me think a little. We only have two more scholly's to give (at this point) for next year. We have offers out to 80 of the top 100 it seems. You almost have to expect that we get two more top 100 guys.

Probably 2 more high school kids and a transfer of some type just because we're transfer U.

Exactly why I'd be shocked if they only signed two more players for this class. Whether it be 3 more prep recruits or a combination of preps and transfers.

I'd be fine with Vaughn and Abu and end of class. But I agree that someone might transfer, so ill be very happy with Custer, Vaughn, Cunningham, and Abu... I think that is a very very very good class. If that were to happen, I think 2 or 3 of those guys could potentially start right away.

I get it but looking at 2011-12 it was easy to see that Sledge and Railey might leave. In 2012-13 it was understandable that Okoro would leave. I guess that Naz (who I forgot) could leave. That would be my vote.

And I don't like this discussion.

Yeah, it's a ****** discussion, and I hardly ever expect a player to actually want to leave ISU with Hoiberg at the helm. That being said, it wouldn't surprise me if a Juco left if they weren't getting playing time. Clyburn went to Marshalltown, Utah, RS year, and ISU and it worked out just fine for him. A Juco could definitely transfer and benefit, especially if they have more than two semesters of schoolwork to do to get their degree. Not saying it's gonna happen.

Playing time will definitely shake out, because it looks like there are 13 guys who are good enough to expect minutes, and only 8 or 9 will get them. Gonna be an interesting season.

If we get Vaughn, Cunningham, and Abu, I will **** a gold brick of happiness. I'm pretty much thinking 1 of the 3 would be great.

recruiting doesn't mean we have to talk about who transfers away. Mentioning that "someone might leave" is as far as I like to go.

Sorry I guess? I pointed out that I didn't think anyone would leave based on the situations here...

but I also think someone will leave

On average, how many players transfer out per year? Seems like you can expect at least 1. Not everyone can play, and I understand people wanting to go somewhere where they can.

Ehh....I kind of get the feeling that our transfers the last few years were less unhappy and more 'encouraged' to look elsewhere.

I do think that next year we'll see less movement next year just b/c of the makeup of the team. If Percy made it to this year, he'll probably stick around for the senior year. SDW has already used his redshirt. I sure as hell hope Morris and Thomas aren't unhappy enough to want to leave. The junior college would be the best guess and it is doubtful they leave too.

The last two transfers played almost as little as I did. They may not have been "unhappy" but i doubt they were pleased with the situation and their prospects in the future.

Wtf??? That is a weird commitment IMO. There has to be a backstory of some kind.

Absolutely has to be. He reclassified from 2013 to 2014, about a month ago, which is usually done to develop more and garner better opportunities and now he commits to GCU. It makes very little sense.
