DeAndre Kane visiting next week

I believe that I'll go ahead and renew my season tickets this year.

There wasn't exactly a doubt or even a pause about that, but I'll go ahead and do it.
I'll buy you a clonecone every game if you go ahead and buy me season tickets.

That's even smaller than last year. I would like it if Ejim is good enough at the 3, and one of the bigs is good enough to start at the 5, even if they don't go with that lineup for more than 10 minutes total.

That's a pretty similar sized lineup as last year. Kane and Monte are both bigger than Korie. Thomas and Kane are similar to Babb., from a height perspective. Nobody like Clyburn at 6'7", but Kane is solid.

Kane was playing out of position at Marshall by playing the point. With Bubu, Long, and Monte here, I don't think it should be assumed at all that he will play the point. He may play it some, but he can be used as a 2 or even a 3 also.

I think this may be an even more athletic team than last year's. It is going to be fun to watch how CFH makes all the pieces fit.

Imo Morris and Kane will make it tough to give labels in the backcourt. That said, I feel confident in thinking that at least one of Kane, Morris, and Bubu will be on the court over 90% of the time.

I'm impressed with Fred and the staff. We are so used to missing on recruits that are key to bump us a level. Fred seems to be damn good at getting the pivotal kids into the program.

Once he and the staff really set their sights on someone - they most often end up in Ames.

I agree. If Hoiberg pulls in Vaughn, he will reach god status.

Let's give Matt A. some credit - while he's been criticized because his NYC kids haven't panned out for us yet - he's now responsible for some of our best transfers - Royce, Nader, now Kane.

Like I have said before I love having that 6'7" versatility that Will brought, his game was a walking matchup nightmare for most teams. We will miss him.

With the way clone cone inflation has been the last few years, you probably should just buy the tickets.

Next year, at this time, Kane will be calling this the best decision he ever made.
