The 600 MILLION Powerball Thread

well if I'd bought a ticket I'd be more excited, haha. If someone wins from somewhere I could have conceivably bought the ticket from though, I will be ******!

I could do a lot with 600 million. Haha!

I chose a lottery ticket over a glass bottle Pepsi last time the jackpot was massive. I still have buyer's remorse. Will not make the same mistake ever again.

I figured why not. $10 for a little daydreaming about what I'd do with all that money seemed like a fair trade. That's actually less than what I spent on a small soda and popcorn when I went to the movies last week...

I literally have never won any sort of gambling. Any time I am at any casino (which isn't often), I put a $20 in the slots and I am out the $20 in about 2 minutes. No lie. I never even get a number right on my lottery tickets (which I only play when over $100 million and I think about it....if I am going to win I am going to win big). Anyway, I bought on Wednesday and went in today to get my ticket for tonight and I won $4 on Wednesday's ticket. I guess that means I am not going to win today.

Honestly, if I didn't have a heart attack upon realizing that I'd won, I'd never know what to do with all that money without just giving it away. I've done the math before. I could set my parents, my sister and myself for life (in addition to future kids), donate a ton to my high school, the Daily Iowan, and UIHC (specifically leukemia and dementia/Alzheimers research), and I'd still have a couple hundred million left over when all was said and done.

I have a nice list of places I would put money:
1. House
2. Probably some adoptions along the way
3. A school in Jamaica
4. Teach for free.
5. A whole bunch of good causes and places to donate.
6. Obviously, income and retirement would be simple to put together.
