***Official NFL Draft Thread***

Oh...I'm fully aware of the amount of suck I'm in for. It is a LARGE amount. Just wondering if these two guys will be any good.

I like Milliner and I'm lukewarm on Richardson. The surgeries for Milliner are a tad overblown. He didn't miss a ton of games, and that's the important thing. The problem is that Rex Ryan strikes me as a lame duck coach. So to have two picks that have his fingerprints all over them is an odd strategy for the organization. If they draft a QB and retool the offense then maybe he buys himself one more season.

Bjoern Werner to the Colts...I guess I like it. They do need to strengthen their front seven. I kind of wanted Eddy Lacy there, but he doesn't necessarily fit their offense.

It would suck being a Patriots fan on draft night. Granted, the rest of the year generally goes pretty well for them.

Why would you boo a player your team just selected? Cowboy fans booing and giving thumbs down for there pick? Really? Grow up. Just because the guy isn't a ''big name'' or skill position player. Pathetic.

But I thought the Big Ten is the best conference in the history of college football?

They live in the past, they think they are still good and should get all the best players ever.

Booing Jerry. Not the player. Sucks again on draft day.

I really like the Packers pick more and more. Datone Jones looks really strong and athletic for a DE. Also sounds like a guy with great character and will never give up on any down. I think he has an instant impact on the d-line.

1996:
Lost in the Divisional round to a lesser opponent (Jaguars) at home after having the best record in the league (13-3). Super Bowl was in New Orleans. Having an older QB in his late 30s (Elway 36).

Lose the starting DE in the offseason (Michael Dean Perry)

The following draft we take a guy by the name of Trevor Pryce a DT (last time we drafted a DT in the first round) 28th overall.

Win Super Bowl 32
FAST FORWARD

2012:
Lose to lesser opponent in the divisional round (Ravens) at home after having the best record in the league (13-3). Super Bowl was in New Orleans. Having a late older 30s QB (Manning 36).

Lose our starting DE in the offseason (Dumervil).

Draft 28th overall and pick up a DT (Sly Williams)

????

Hmmm...

But that's another thing that makes the draft so great. I love watching both New York teams, and philly fans melt down every year. They could pick the best player and they'd still boo

Rams
16. Tavon Austin WR West Virginia
22. Alec Ogletree OLB Georgia

Well in a round a bout way, the rams picked who i thought they would. Gave up a second round pick (i think) and a few late round picks.
I imagine they will draft a Safety and a Guard in the next few rounds (71, 92, and 113). I like DJ Swaringer from South Carolina, and Fisher likes the SEC

Don't think Swaringer is supposed to make it down to 71.
