Lazard #1 WR in 2014

Typical d-bag squawk fan just has to comment on that story. Those turds have such low self-esteem it is comedic.

Landing the #1 player, at any position, is another sign that the tide is turning at Iowa State.

I just saw he got dropped by Scout.com from the #12 receiver to the #17 receiver. Rivals still has him at top receiver in the class though. I'm still glad he's going to be a Cyclone, just thought I'd make the comment how the rankings can differ from one site to another.

Yep. Rivals is a much better service than scout all around though, and I don't just say that because Lazard is #1. Rivals gets info quicker and is just better overall.

Wow do not want anymore.

247 has him as #244 and the 24th best Athlete which is stupid. He's a receiver and there's no confusion about that. Classify him as such and rank him.

I'm sorry but what has changed that would make them change the rankings since last month?
Obviously they saw that his team made the state tournament in basketball and all great football players only play football because they have no time for anything else. :jimlad:

He was all-state as a DB. He could be considered an Athlete as many people think that as good of a WR he is, he may be an even better DB.

He is 6'4". He is a total and complete stud at WR, but that height would make him an outlier at DB. Iowa high school football might not translate well to the Big 12.

He is going to be a 4 year starter immediately at ISU at WR.

A quick search on Rivals show 21 players with 4-stars that have us listed on their interest list. I assume all of them are on the Top 250 list, I believe this is the most I have ever seen in my recruiting monitoring history which goes back to the MAC days.
