Things that make you feel old

In my small HS, they matched up High Schoolers with kindergartners each year. Called it a mentor program. All we ever did was read together. The girl my wife "mentored" as a kindergartner is going to soon be my sister-in-law

You know that little icon you click on to save your work? No one under the age of 25 knows what that is.

My first thought was "what? kids don't save their work anymore?"

I realized my generation had been supplanted as when I overheard someone ask "did you know that Kenan from SNL used to be on a show called 'All That'?" rather than "wait, Kenan from 'All That' is on SNL now???".

I was just thinking about this the other day.. I am only 19 but I feel old already. I guess the major thing was 9/11 was a decade ago... Oh.. and I got a wedding invitation from a High School Friend.

Any time I don't get carded when I buy booze. I'm 33 now. Three years ago I got it every single time...now, the ratio of check/no check is closer to 50/50. Probably chalk it up to the grays randomly popping up in my sideburns.

I am the same age and sometimes I get carded sometimes not, when I do the wife says old man then I say whatever cougar cause she never gets carded and she is 4 yrs younger then me. by the way she does not like that, but makes me chuckle.

Realizing I have one year left of school.....Seeing "Senior" on AccessPlus under my classification was an eye opener last week....

Yeah, 9/11. Crazy that I was in class at ISU when the first plane hit and somebody like my brother has no real memory of the actual event.

This. A buddy and I gave up our tickets to some family and we bought hillside and went and sat in the student section. We arent even out of our 20's and were sitting there like who in the hell are these weirdos. I felt soooo old. Doesnt help that todays college kids act like theyre 12 and look like theyre about 16.
Being a 26-year old undergrad, I get some looks too in the student section. No one has ever actually said anything, but if they ever do, I may lie and say I'm a grad student.
