No Virginia Next Year

we should set up a series with marquette or wisconsin. Doubt either of them would do it but you never know.

Wouldn't mind picking up a game against

Nebraska (won't happen)
Illinois
Missouri (won't happen)
Kentucky (we wouldn't do it, though I want revenge on those guys)
Eff Mizzou. Never play them again. Let them suffer in the SEC.
Would like to see a series with Minnesota. Would be a nice little rivalry I think.

I agree with the Eff Mizzou part. We should never play them again. I would like to see us go against a big name like Kentucky or Duke.

Yes in Las Vegas with UNLV, Cincy, and Oregon plus 4 other scrub teams including Campbell.

I'm guessing we'll play 2 scrubs at home then play 2 of the 3 teams above in Las Vegas
Yeah I thought that was what it was. Wasn't totally sure though.

... and ****, Campbell?!?!?! Might as well not even go. :jimlad:

I'd rather play Kentucky in the non-con than the NCAA tourney, those youngins wouldn't have a chance to bond their NBA talent for long.

I think losing this Virginia game is a pretty big loss though. I think that was almost a certain win in Hilton next season. Would have helped are resume at the end of the season a little bit. I'm thinking we'll be on the bubble come March.

I'm thinking we'll have removed any doubt by mid-January.

Utah needed out of a game to since the Pac-12 plays 9 conference games too. It was mutually beneficial.

IIRC it was beneficial to ISU first, then soon after it was beneficial to Utah as well ;-)

And of course it was REALLY beneficial to ISU that Utah was joining the Pac 10 in the big picture.

We'll always have that one beautiful home game to remember the series by. Not the best of days.

Was this the game before we got shut out by Oklahoma like 52-0 then went and beat Texas in their home? Defenitely a "series" that I remember for the wrong reason.

I'd like to continue the Michigan series if we allready weren't playing Iowa every year from the B1G. It would be nice to get a SEC series going. I'd be down with playing Vandy or Arkansas.

Didn't we have to pay Utah since the game got canceled? Either way I'm disappointed we won't play Virginia but at least we have a shot at revenge against Michigan

I would like to pick up a game against a "top" big 10 team. I think that whole conference is overrated and i guarantee anyone but maybe Ohio State and the Michigan schools wouldn't be able to match our athleticism. I would love to beat up on a big ten team.

Doubt it will be Michigan we are already in a series with them...they come to Hilton the following season

Hasnt the happened a few times to the BB team? Seems ISU is getting screwed in the home and homes.
