the conundrum with bbball scheduling is "who would want to play us?" what's in it for them?

there's 50 teams that'd be great for us, and we'd all love to play them. but most coaches have little desire to play us in hilton, and most fans' would view us as a bad loss.

tubby smith isn't going to give fred hoiberg more access to minnesota, just like bo ryan or buzz won't want him in wisconsin.

I don't any specifics to add to this conversation but I have heard that Iowa State will play a few different BCS programs next season during the non-conference. Not sure who, when or where but it's just what I'm hearing...

you thinking one more or two more BCS games?

Meh, no big deal. If I were Virginia, I wouldn't want to play us either. We'll find someone else

1. its always tough to find a BCS team to come to hilton

2. we never have much leverage

3. many schools are in the same boat, plenty of time to finalize the schedule. we got the Mich series last year in the same circumstances (Mich needed a home game).

And will probably bail on the return game.
