For someone who doesn't do Twitter, what's the point of retweeting everyone? Is it like a "hey, he looked at me" sort of thing for the people that tweet him, or how does this work?

That pretty much would sum it up, it's just him acknowledging you said something to him.

Basically someone wants retweeted to gain followers because their tweet is shown to all of the famous persons followers, or just to know they got the attention of a famous person.

I have tweeted multiple famous people, but just compliments - "Great season Ejim!" but I never ask for a retweet. I view it like going into a church in a devil costume.

I checked it out and personally I feel like it is when a girlfriend dumps you. It was great when it happened, It hurts when she leaves, your happy to see her happy, but it stills you that she is happy with out you.

He certainly isn't RT stuff that shows he isn't coming back, but he sure isn't avoiding all the one more year tweets.
