Apparently we are all depressed from the game last night. We need to get this going, maybe it'll help cheer some of us up. Somebody hurry and tell a funny story.

Back in High School, (hoiberg QB), we were in the locker room at halftime. Sometime during the first half, Fred got his jersey ripped because someone grabbed it to take him down. When Coach Daddow was giving his halftime speech, Fred was checking out his ripped jersey with a look on his face, like "I can't believe my jersey is ripped" He may or may not of been thinking that, but it sure looked liked it.

I find joy in the fact Iowa isn't going to the NIT and that their fans are mad that the Big 10 won't allow them to play in the CBI.

I'll admit, I really enjoy watching Cyclone basketball with my wife. She is already depressed that the season is almost over. Last night, I left three good friends at a sports bar at halftime who were more into talking than watching the game and watched the second half with my wife.

I got a call from "National Cardholder Services" again this morning. I say "again" because we've gotten at least a dozen calls from these yahoos, landline and cell, despite being on the Do Not Call list and trying to use their opt-out option on several occassions.

This time, I realized my coaching whistle was close at hand. So I picked the option to talk to one of their "credit counselors." When Nathan came on the line, I let him have it. Childish? Yep. But man, it felt good.

wonder if that gets me off the list.

She sounds cool. Do you always leave her alone for the 1st half?

I'm, uh, asking for a friend.

So, my lovely wife of 25 years and went back to college, left tonight for Atlanta for "spring break" with 50 other classmates for a school project. 14 hour bus ride. I get home from work and ask her what she'd like me to make for dinner before she leaves. I mention shrimp scampi or shrimp alfredo. She says she doesn't want to put me out so just a box of Kraft mac n cheese. Ok..
I am now sitting here with 2 fingers of Jamesons (Whiskey thread) a case of the newest Sam Adams Brewers Choice (Friday beer thread), making shrimp scampi for myself and watching college basketball without any annoyances.
That is how you do multiple threads at once.

I find it ignorant that people get upset about others posting this video. I get that the organization has some questions about it, and I wouldn't donate money to them based on this, but I don't understand how making people aware of a mass murderer and wanting to get him behind bars is a bad thing.

I find it even more ignorant when people blindly believe a pretty piece of marketing and don't take 10 minutes to do their own research. If they would, they'd learn that:

The U.S. has already been involved (militarily) in some fashion since 2008
Kony isn't even IN Uganda nor has he been for years. Uganda is a peaceful country and Kony is likely in the DRC or Sudan......with an army of less than 1000.
It's possible he's already dead.
The group IC is wanting to give more power and arms to (the Ugandan Army) USES CHILD SOLDIERS
The Ugandans would like us to GTFO or help with issues related to disease or poverty instead. Things that would do MUCH more to help them with current crises.

OK, This may have been covered and it's not much of a confession but I just wanna ***** about something.

What the eff was up with the ISU cheerleaders last night? They didn't do ****. They just sat there the whole effing game. I didn't hear any effing cheers. No Defense chants. Nothing. I did get to hear and see UTs annoying cheer skanks the whole night though.

Seriously. Do they not have guys who do chants on the cheer squad any more? There were a TON more ISU fans there last night but they were outdone by a bunch of UT dudes with megaphones.

I'm just ticked in general about last night, but this in particular made me even more ticked off.

I was in the pep band for tournaments back in the day. If the cheer squad didn't start a chant, we did. It just seemed like 90% of the game the ISU fans sat on their hands. It was annoying as crap.

That was the dance squad - cheerleaders didn't go to KC.
