Actually something I don't think anyone has said is that I hope we can do a cool design on the back or something instead of just a simple "Jack Trice Stadium" on the back.

We could put another screen on the back so that the 45,000 people who just tailgate but don't go into the stadium can watch the game.
Ya thats what I meant. I think it would be cool to do some type of graphic with Jack Trice (the person) on it or something instead of just plain text and logo.
I hope they plant some hedges around the base of the pillars. Those things will look out of place without any landscaping.

I actually like it plain and simple looking. However a graphic of Jack Trice would be sweet, although probably expensive.
I don't mind it simple but if possible a graphic like that would be cool. And we already dropped $5 million so how much more could it be? I seriously have no idea.
You are 100% right. Whoever put the Jacobsen building there was a fool. It should have been put in the South Endzone and the North should be bowled in. A stadium open to the North in Iowa...great idea. It's there now, so nothing can be done about it however. I just hope if the South endzone is bowled in those people don't freeze their ***** off facing the North wind. Also, there have been plans or at least the idea to bowl Jack Trice in since it was originally constructed, the builders had in mind that the stadium would be bowled in at some point. To suggest that when the Jacobsen building was built that no one had any idea we might bowl in one endzone one day is not accurate. It shouldn't have been put there, but then again we probably shouldn't have put Hilton in a flood plain either. What's done is done, fun to talk about though since it is the off season.

I've heard estimates in the $500,000 range for a graphic that large...
Ok actually, I have no idea, it's probably not too expensive in the grand scheme of things. I just couldn't come up with a better idea of why they didn't put a picture of JT up there. :v_SPIN:
It doesn't really matter dude. It's going to blow like a mother****er, be cold as ****, and rain/ sleet/ snow either way.
PS: If this were the approach taken... the North would still be "open" this day.

You can get a 7.5' fat head for 100 dollars. So we could get a good sized one for under $1,000.
