According to Randy Peterson:

Iowa State receiver Sedrick Johnson no longer is a Cyclone, according to an on-line records search of students enrolled this semester.

Johnson, who started the first six games last season, could not be reached for comment. Iowa State coach Paul Rhoads hasn’t commented yet. He played as a true freshman in 2008.

The junior from Troup, Texas, caught 16 passes for 102 yards and no touchdowns while playing all 12 games last season.

Not surprising.

Not too surprising though, as there are probably several players from last years' team not returning (based on the number of recruits we are likely to sign). So CPR will likely address them all in one big release or media session around the start of Spring Football practice.

not even close, we had a pair of juco linemen (twins) that were just plain awful. I know one of them was 4 star.

Not even close - he at least saw the field and DID produce at times. Bo Williams might be in that rarified air tho.

Thing is - both those guys were reportedly great guys and things just didn't work out.
