******Official Post-Game Thread******

First half play really can't be blamed on Arnaud. Our receiving corps really let us down in the first half.

Anybody know the story on #92 on the DL? Cyclones.com says 92 is Austin Krick, a 225 lb white freshmen walk-on. So it definitely wasn't him.

Idiot. Arnaud is the worst player in the history of football. Even when he throws a good ball that the receiver drops, his aura of suckitude forces the receiver to drop the ball.

it was cleyon laing who tore his jersey in the game apparently

I have got to see video of that. Watching it live was great but I want to see him shake that dude again and again and again.

Someone else posted this in another thread, but here's direct link to video highlights on ISU Athletics Facebook page. Check out video starting around 4:50. Even better when they show it a second time in slo-mo.

Could anyone else on our roster scored a TD on Shontrelle's run? I don't think so.

Shontrelle has the speed and lateral movement necessary to be really special for this team and program. Not sure he can be an every down type of back as he doesn't have the size right now, but he's great to put in there as a change up.

Hopefully our receivers go over the fundamentals of catching and then holding onto the ball this week in practice.

love watching him play. he is a game changer(or should i say, the potential to be one). havent really had one in awhile.

You mean the one where Arnaud threw it with a Dlineman about ready to sack him? Our OL wasn't helping Arnaud in the first half.

He didnt even get touched. He aimed the throw instead of just throwing it. He knew he made a bad throw, you could tell by his reaction. It looked as though he was throwing a dart. Other than that pass, he was decent this game. Darks sure didnt help him out.

might not have been touched but he had them coming causing him to force the throw.

I love how people wanna dog the hell outta Arnaud even when he has a great game. This was prolly one of his best games this year as far as accuracy goes. He also made some hellacious runs. Really nice when people wanna dog a guy that has worked his tail off for the program and all he gets are his critics calling him out.

One thing I'll say in defense of the offense in the first half, the KU D was completely selling out. The safeties were starting out at most 10 yards off the ball and crashing immediately. If we had a better deep passing game we could have torched them. KU was playing like a team with nothing to lose, which they are. Combine that with some dropped balls and a fumble on the first play and that's what you get. It just took some time for the O to adjust.

Arnaud's stats would have looked a lot better if the receivers would have caught the ball. There were 5 or 6 passes that the receivers should have caught. This would have helped out in the first half. Drives could have been extended and in my opinion, ISU would not have been down 9-7.

Agreed. He was not getting help from his receivers at all in the first half.
