My first half game ball goes to the ISU coaching staff. The guys were ready to play after a 120-27 deficit over the last 2 weeks.

Really liking this game. The dline looks better an the block by AA was awesome.

As bad as Gilbert has been throwing, AA has been worse. Had he just lobbed that opposite end goalline pass to Franklin, it would have been a 30+ yard gain, instead we get a high overthrown bullet. Franklin was on another planet wide open.

The defense has been incredible the first half. Really neutralizing their speed by playing good position football. They have been in the right place more often than not. Great game play by Wally and friends. Have to capitalize on opportunities and continue to make tackles in the open field.

For anyone who was questioning our coaching, please rewatch that first half. the onside kick clearly was because they saw something and then perfectly executed. Also love the punting, I guess you could say he has had a lot of practice, but a Freshman putting inside the 5 at Texas is amazing, sure there were some missed opportunities, but they made more opportunities than they missed!
