How about the decision by Rhoads to call two time-outs to ice the kicker right before half? That was hilarious watching him pace the sideline with a smirk on his face after watching the kicker duff his first to attempts. Then he missed his third attempt and didn't go back in for the rest of the game. Now that is what I call icing the kicker!! :biglaugh::biglaugh:

(Thanks for catching the UNI thing guys)

By the way I'm pretty sure you can't call 2 timeouts in a row, at least its that way in the pros.

bahahaha dude missed all 3!!!!!! I couldn't stop laughing. I like how after he missed the 2nd one, he turned and looked at a teammate and they both smiled, like "whew, thank God we got those misses out of the way, third times a charm, right?!?!" And then he went and missed the third!!! hahahaha

I thought there was no way he was going to miss after all of that.

BTW - We don't have a lot to hang our hats on quite yet in the kicking game... Mahoney was absolutely awful on his first kick. He did much better after that.

He appeared to misjudge the snap on the first one. It threw his timing completely off. Write it off to 1st game jitters. He should have a solid year.

Don't you ice a kicker to throw them our of their rhythm? He failed pretty miserably at that, the kicker stayed true to form on everyone.

On Mahoney's missed kick, you could see his timing off. He started his motion then stopped then restarted.

Also, to truly be iced he has to get down on one knee.
