Cap City 7/11.

How did Godfrey play? And did Bubu tear it up again tonight?
Yeah Bubu did good. His shot is really improving. He tends to complain alot but thats not really a big deal. And for Godfrey, I dont know if he was there. Someone had the Godfrey jersey on but I could not tell if it was him or not. He did not look like he was 6-8 240. If it was Godfrey than I take it he like to shoot threes. Lol.

I did not see Bubu play tonight, but I have seen him play quite a few times in the CCL. He is a fun player to watch. Unfortunately he is just small, height and width. You never know, sometimes someone like that can still end up being a great player. I will keep my fingers crossed. He seems like a great guy.

Thompson I guess you are correct about Railey not being super thin. I shouldn't have said he was "very thin." I definitely think he needs to add muscle and some more weight if he wants to contribute this year, but I shouldn't have said he was so thin.

I actually thought Railey looked big not just tall. But yes he needs to add muscle. He's not like Mcknight. He actually made a three I was kinda suprised to see that. Do you know if Godfrey was actually there tonight or if it was someone else wearing his jersey?

Railey was much thicker than I anticipated. That being said, I did not see much that led me to believe he would help a ton this upcoming year. It also looked like every joint / muscle in his body was sore. It took him about 2 minutes to walk the length of the floor when he first got there. So, maybe his body just isn't used to all the lifting / conditioning he is doing now.

I am glad #11 was Booker. He looks like he could be a solid post scoring option with a year to work on his moves.

I was bummed by Godfrey and McKnight. After KG's statements, I had hoped at least one of them would be able to contribute some this year at the 4-5 positions. My expectations for such are not as high as they once were. Admittedly, both saw limited PT, and these leagues are not designed to showcase post play. However, I definitely left less excited about this year than when I arrived.

I am pretty sure Godfrey did not play so you shouldn't be bummed about him. I think someone was just wearing his jearsy. The kid looked nothing like him and was only 6'5"ish and didn't hang around with any of the Iowa State players.

Yeah and he was hanging around more on the 3-point line than in the paint. I hope it wasnt him anyways.

I sure hope you are right as I agree with Thompson that he was trying to play small forward with NO interest in posting up and very little interest in rebounding.

Can someone tell me if the location will change with the semi-final games on July 18th? and the games this Wednesday?
