I think I will be going today. Wanna make sure its still going on for today. HOpefully all of the Clones will be playing. Anyone else planning on going?

I'll be there. You might check the DSM Rag; they had rosters, times, etc. They might also have rosters sheets available at the games.

I was there for most of the first half of the first game. The wife was not too excited and wanted to get the kids home. Here are my observations:

McKnight: wow, he is thin. He looks a little like Wesley Johnson. Not skill wise, just in his body type. He really, really needs to hit the weights and pack on some weight. He does seem to have potential as he is very athletic.

Railey: also very thin. To be honest, I wasn't very excited when I first saw him. His body type reminded me of an MVC center, but he kind of grew on me. He got some nice boards and played some good defense. He really should redshirt this year but I bet that isn't an option. He needs to hit the weights as well. He seems pretty long. I need to see him play more to form a valid opinion. I am not bagging on him, I really don't know what to think at this point.

Ejim: This is the 2nd time I have seen him and he looks like he could be a good one down the road. According to the Stat sheet he leads the league in scoring (around 30 a game) and leads the league in rebounding (12.7 a game). His body is already big 12 ready. I am not saying he is all B12 or anything, but I will be suprised if he isn't starting by at least the mid-point of the year (if not in the first game)

Booker: he also has a B12 ready body. It looks like he could be a real nice player for us next year.

I don't think Booker was there. I was waiting for him to walk in and I dont remember seeing him. I did not expect Mcknight to be so skinny! Was anyone there for the final game? Godfrey looked really small if that was him. The jersey said Godfrey but he looked more like a guard than a "bruising forward". Demarcus has good handles.

Booker was there...had jersey #11.

Oh really? I just assumed that was Karl Madison of Drake. I thought he was one of the best players out there. Too bad he has to sit out a year.

That was the only jersey they had for him. I assume it was his first night there because they had him sign a waiver (or something) before he played.

Sounds like it's going to be a REAL long season this year.

Not good that McKnight and Railey are super skinny. I thought they would be thicker?

Oh well... I guess I was starting to get unrealistic expectations already on guys like McKnight, Railey, Godfrey, etc. We will need contributions from them. I thought we might get lucky and have some diamonds in the rough, but it sounds like they will need some developing.

Good info though.... thanks!

Railey is NOT skinny. He's actually alot bigger than I thought. He should be good to go, size wise. He looks more ready than Mcknight which suprises me.

Ejim is Big 12 ready now, just needs to work on his passing skills. He had some monster dunks in the second half.
