Sure, if we learn from it and use this to improve and beat Nebraska the next game. But that'll never happen. Nebraska by 8.

Okay...but this game post Duke totally blows your theory away. If what you are saying would hold true Texas should be killing us. Except it's a game with 2:24 to go.

Some of those people in Cyclone Alley needs a couple beers or shots...they look half dead

or calcium, or Vitamin E. In athletes, it is usually a sign of dehydration. Drink more Gatorade. FYI

No sorry...leg cramps are more times than not by potassium deficiency more than anything you listed. Look it up in any health book or medical journal. The only thing you listed up there that is major in cramping is calcium

Chow Line: Potassium-rich foods deter muscle cramps (for 5/4/03)

also:
"Cramps are often caused by a lack of potassium, resulting in an electrytic imbalance. Strenuous exercise with sweating and diarrhea or other bowel disease may cause loss of potassium and other important minerals. It is very important to replace them with supplements. Some people get leg cramps at night for no apparent reason."

"Potassium, an essential nutrient in the diet, is an electrolyte -- an ionized salt in the body that can become electrically charged. Potassium and sodium work together across cell membranes to regulate muscle contractions, among other critical body functions. If there's too little potassium, a condition called hypokalemia can result. Symptoms include fatigue, muscle weakness and cramping, intestinal complications, and in a worst-case scenario, muscular paralysis."

What is the deal with Hightower (sp?). Is there bad blood here that I missed somehow?

He has a knack for calling fouls. Whether there is a foul or not. He mostly does Big 10 games, and when he is reffing, there seems to be an all defense game with low scores.
