SPEECHLESS....

I'm afraid to click on that link because it's FOXNews... They've upset me enough as it is that I don't want to raise my blood pressure by reading that crap.

Funny, I say the same thing about the Clinton News Network.

As do I... as do I... There aren't really any "unbiased" news sources anymore. Anything I read/hear from news networks I take with a grain of salt, and tend to look at the same story from at least three different sources to try and figure out the actual story.

You find this hard to believe? They are whack-jobs and will use anything to spread their perverted view. :no6xn:

Hard to believe? Apparently everyone's forgotten about the "Bert is Evil" website from about 5 years ago. Osama Bin Laden heard about that and began using Bert (from Sesame Street) in his propaganda campaigns.

yikes, I'm assuming by Clinton News Network you're referring to CNN. Well, CNN's own Glen Beck talked about this same topic/story months ago while doing a "special investigation" into the radical side of Islam.

what blows my mind about the media these days is that being overcompensatingly conservative (Fox) balances out the supposed liberal bias found in other networks. This is ridiculous. News is news and should be conveyed to the public without any slant left or right.

Yes, it's sick, disgusting, and evil, but in Iraq, terrorists have sent women and children in cars with radio-controlled bombs to kill our soldiers and their own people. They were able to catch us off guard a couple times. So it's not too surprising that they're indoctrinating and recruiting a future generation of suicide bombers.

Has anyone seen Syriana? That movie is amazing in the depiction of the brainwashing of young people to conduct their brand of terrorism so that they don't have to die, and sending people to believe their own twisted version of faith to their deaths because the people running the show are too scared to kill themselves.

They're not too scared to kill themselves. They're just smart enough to get other people to do it instead.

Religion is a powerful means of mass control.

Fear and intelligence go hand in hand. They're smart enough to realize that killing others for a beleif such as theirs may not reward them with heaven.

fox is not a legitimate news outlet

That's a very "Democratic" thing to say.

Yes, FOX has a conservative bias, but just because they don't cover the news in the "liberal-rose" shade of colored glasses that CNN broadcasts with doesn't make it any less legitimate than CNN. As a matter of fact, sometimes I think FOX does a better job at covering the news than CNN. If you compare the websites, sometimes FOX has the news anywhere between hours to days in advance. Must take longer to come up with the "liberal spin..."

Next maybe you'll tell me that Bill O'Reilly is fair and impartial. :laugh8kb:

Anyway, it's a matter of perspective and not worth argument.

Good lord, can't we all agree that the news media as a whole sucks eggs? It's like religion; they all have a good idea, but they go about the entire thing in the wrong way.

Never said that...

Sometimes it's worth watching for the entertainment, though :laugh8kb:

I love how Fox considered "overcompensatingly" (not a word by the way) conservative when it is well known that upwards of 80% of the media is liberal. But of course we're supposed to shut up and believe that no liberal from the mega media outlets would ever emit any bias in their new coverage. Doesn't make sense that when a different news outlet comes along and wants to maybe make it 50/50 that the 80% liberal sector of media would scream and cry, tar and feather it because their monopoly of the media is threatened?

From my perspective, CNN is at least less biased. But then again, it's perspective. :wink0st:

Being that this thread has become essentially another political debate, I will ask the moderator kindly to kill it, not sure I can take another one.
