Brewers Pitcher Woodruff just had to leave in the 4th inning. Looks like a shoulder issue again.

Shocking. Actually surprised it didn't happen earlier. For the record, I don't like that for him, but history dictates it was going to happen.

Feels like they hit a peak with the 23 run game and now will crash back to earth and look like they did in May for a while.

Back to back terrible games by this team against a team 99% of your fans absolutely hate!
And, a team you’re trying to separate from in the divisional standings!!! UGHHHH !!

How do you pull Assad after only 80 pitches, no one on base with two outs and he's just an out away from being eligible for the win AND knowing that the bullpen has been a dumpster fire? !@#$%&

Seems like 80ish pitches is all he is allowed at the last moment. Threw 82 pitches in his last 2 starts. the most he has thrown in any start this season has been 92 otherwise his starts have all been of the 80-85 variety. Not that I agree he should have come out today especially given how our bullpen is right now.

Disappointing how we only got 1 of these 3 games. Needed at least 2 to gain another game of separation from the Cards. 6 games on the road now against 2 teams with losing records. Would like to get at least 4 wins out this before the break. The Brewers have a 5 game series at STL and 3 at Pittsburgh. Guess we have to hope the Cards can take at least 3 of those games and help us out a little

17-9 over the past 30 days. I’d take that 6 times. This team really only has one opponent. Itself. We’re gonna beat good teams and lose to bad ones that’s baseball.
