Fran vs Media

You wonder how long Beth can keep her job losing the cy hawk series 16-9. The last AD who had that wide of a loss was forced to retire.

22% of the time is damn good. Especially in 27 years. Let's be real it's happened 1 time in ISU history. If he isn't winning 10 he's winning 8 or 9 usually anyway.
KF has averaged 8 wins for the past 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years. He's had 7 seasons out of 27 with 10 more more wins. Finished ranked 12 out of 27. Finished top-10 in 5 out of 27.

Kirk Ferentz has averaged 7.4 wins per year.
Minus his games with FCS he has averaged 7.14 wins per year FBS.
minus Maryland Rutgers Illinois and Minnesota, 4.8 wins per year.
And that doesn’t count include all the non P4 non conference games.

I think just focusing on his wins/season undersells a lot of his prowess.

Not many D1 coaches can get through 20+ years while throwing multiple people around them under the bus to avoid resposonsibility.
Agree wholeheartedly. But it is also important to pop the balloon in the lies and mythology surrounding Ferentz record. There is a huge difference between the games a great coach wins and the games Ferentz won. This goes to the heart of an AD interested more in protecting his coach through scheduling.

So when do we get the dirt on Ol' crocodile tears Free-rents? The racial settlement and sealed report findings spreak volumes....

And don't forget about a 10 year stretch of seasons against competition one could only describe as the JV of the Big Ten - - the Big Ten West. (dog crap Nebraska, bad Illinois, horrible Northwestern, dog water Purdue, and don't get me started on Minnesota). Every year, for like a decade.

How many women’s bball games were you going to before Clark?
None. That doesn't mean I didn't regard women's bball as a "real" sport. It's absolutely a real sport. Hell my daughter was in competition cheer and after seeing what that entailed I realized that's a real sport. Unless you disagree and agree with @CyCity that since it's played by females it's not a real sport.

So would you say Matt Campbell's wins were in a watered down big 12? I mean Dan McCarney coached in a way tougher league than MC ever did.
