facundo got screwed Brayden Thompson style
I’m not certain Norman can beat Facundo. The last season we saw him wrestle he had losses to Josh Ogunsanya, Lennox Womack, and 2x to Luca Augustine. That is not a resume that screams sure fire winner over Facundo to me.
I’ll disagree with this.
Based on results you are definitely correct but I believe Norman will jump levels in that room and his potential.
I go off results not vibes. Wouldn’t you say Facundo had just as much potential? What was he a top 5 recruit who was in the PSU room for 4 years?
Fair. Norman also went 21-6 as a RS Freshman with wins over multiple AA and didn’t O’Toole need two takedowns late to beat him at NCAA’s?
Wouldn’t say any of his losses that year were bad. He’s as proven of a college wrestler as Facundo in 1/3 as many years.
Anyone in the “ know “ recall did we get Norman on campus for a visit? Were we close? What if any were the hang ups for him not to join us? Was okie state always in the mix or jump in late with a big bag of cash?
Option is redshirt dee, facundo 65, Norman 74, berge 84. Norman higher ceiling than facundo. Beat gaitan/Kennedy, and had otoole beat at ncaas if I remember. He'll do OK
Will see still be able to redshirt with the 5 for 5? Or will he want to?

165 - Euton, Riggins, Perez, Kelly
174 - MJ, J & O Helgeson, Perez
184 - Bartelt, Naak, Nando
197 - B Thompson, Floyd, Carter
285 - Merrill, Hagerty
Anybody I'm missing with these additions? How we feeling about that lineup? Besides Coby, will any freshmen push for starting spots? Are additions possible in our weaker spots?

125 & 184 are the most questionable weights imo. Obviously we don’t have any idea on BT and how he’ll perform but I think he’ll do just fine there at 197. 133 will be interesting to see how that shakes out.
All in all I think we have a decent team that could do some great things, just need to stay healthy.
