NahI am hoping for a space similar to the Iowa Athletic Club in Coralville or Field Day Brewing in North Liberty.

Iowa Athletic Club is a bar in the "Iowa River Landing" development, which is very well done.I literally have no idea what this means. Someone translate please
30hop style but it needs to be less froofy.I was about to say something like this, an established brand with a few locations where they can come in and get going from the start serving lots of folks. A restaurant/pub that isn't some generic national brand but something regional.
But 30hop is probably hok owned so not them lol.
The original one in Coralville is a lot more casual than the new location they opened in Ankeny. Solid rooftop patio as well.30hop style but it needs to be less froofy.
Same with Cedar Rapids oneThe original one in Coralville is a lot more casual than the new location they opened in Ankeny. Solid rooftop patio as well.
How about a People's location in Cytown? That was a great bar.

Its a little fuzzy, but I think the former restaurant there got rumbled out when their lease expired and not given a chance to renew. They had been there forever, and couldn't understand why they got shanked. Must be so they could do a favor for the Club.Iowa Athletic Club is a bar in the "Iowa River Landing" development, which is very well done.
No, was by there today and the only thing going in McFarland Clinic.Has there been any movement on any additional structures besides the McFarland clinic?
Call the bar Irving’s and put big stop sign 8 degrees off straight on the top of the building and part of the marquee.Something like this at the south end of CyTown, but name it something with Cyclone lore.
(This is Blatt in Omaha, across the street from the Mens CWS stadium)

(The only complaint in Omaha is that they wanted it to originally be three levels with an indoor event space on Floor 2, and then the rooftop on Floor 3 looking into the ballpark)

Blatt is incredible. Love that place.Something like this at the south end of CyTown, but name it something with Cyclone lore.

They really deserve an offer. They stepped up when a lot of others didn't when NIL rolled in. Have you ever had their pizza? I haven't, but I know they sell it at the brewery.Seems obvious to me that WEST-O should occupy a spot in Cytown.

Found a hit piece on reddit.
Maybe Wallaby's can move down from up north.CyTown doesn't need a brew pub, they need a place that food is their main priority and beverages second. The lease price for these spaces is going to be really high so putting a niche establishment would be a bad move IMO. A standard sports bar and grill checks all of the boxes.
I think they own their building and they have no reason to risk moving to an unproven area when they are in a prime spot in what is still the fastest growing section of Ames. With all due respect that would be a terrible business decision.Maybe Wallaby's can move down from up north.
I think I've been to the new location once. Just don't usually go up that way.Liked them when they were in West Ames.I think they own their building and they have no reason to risk moving to an unproven area when they are in a prime spot in what is still the fastest growing section of Ames.
