Actually a good pick by Dallas. I was waiting for them to draft a WR or something they don't need
Probably could be good in the sense that that heat & humidity will help to keep his weight down. Off the field on the other hand....

Why would Proctor have a problem. Dude had the transfer situation but had no real off the field issues. First team academic AA and graduated in less than 4 years.
Guy has unbelievable talent, but you have to wonder if the killer instinct is there. Has the size and talent to dominate, but there are times he goes through the motions. Needed Saban there to keep chewing his ass for him to play up to his potential.
Saban was on McAfee today and basically said he's good on the field but doesn't stay in great shape off the field/not a hard workout guy.
The rumor is that he is not a hard worker, and struggles keeping his weight under control. The talent and size are there, but is the desire, is the question. Playing in Miami you have a lot of outside entertainment that can draw you in.
Pretty sure he had world class trainers at Alabama and it was still a problem. He would not be the first to flame out and instead of a 10/12 year career or longer is gone in 3. It's all up to him.
It's interesting how 'Edge' never used to be a position but has turned into one of the most valued positions on the field, probably only trailing QB and OT. Such athletic freaks who play that position... 6'5 250lbs who run 4.5 40s. Crazy. Big money.
