Weather forecast looks decent for a spring "game". April is always a crapshoot. 50s is good football weather.
I would guess Cyclone FB twitter would do highlites? They do a pretty good job of generating content IMO.
I wonder of this practice will start at the advertised time or will this be like the last open spring practice of the Campbell era and it starts a hour early.
what was the point of starting it early? Just to give a middle finger to fans?
College football exists for the fans. These programs exist for the fans. Schools doing away with or limiting spring games never made any sense. You're going to have an end of spring scrimmage anyway, just let fans get a small glimpse of the team you're going to ask them to fund for the next season.
You're forgetting that, at their core, every college football coach is a hyper-paranoid man baby...
It's also just a notch above watching paint dry.

Indeed. I may watch it a few more times to get more familiar with some of the players.
We will be tailgating outside Jack Trice Stadium before and after the Spring Showcase. Starting at 9am, ending when-you-leave. Serving biscuits and gravy, donuts, monkeybread, coffee, Ames Lager, other beers, NA's, pop, and some Iowa whiskeys.

Be aware that the East bound onramp from South Duff on to US 30 in closed for the Summer. Traffic on Duff seems worse then normal when I drive thru.
