I have no bad feelings for Audi. Can't blame her at all for taking the huge paycheck. However, she's going to experience some tough times ahead because the expectations in Stillwater will be huge and she won't get much support from her old fanbase.

Interesting thinking game but Addy was built from the same cloth as Bridget and Ashley. If Bill continued scheming where that player was the focal point as opposed to making it Audi, how does that change things
Yes, $1.4 million is a pay day but in reality a good chunk will go to taxes. She better have a good financial advisor on helping direct money cause that money could be gone quickly if not handled with care. To me, it’s a lateral move to a similar school. I will root for Audi but not until she graduates and moves on.
Anybody who says they would turn down $1.4 million has never had a $1.4 million offer sheet put in front of them to sign.

You take the money. I don't really blame that but being in the same conference is gross. I don't mind NIL providing money to athletes but with Audi we saw a "All In" for her NIL with Fareway, top selling merch, etc. That's great for her and probably how NIL is supposed to work but did that affect team chemistry? Did that affect her own attitude towards things after all that focus was on her?
Ugh, love how well she represented ISU while here but once gone, I'm 100% ISU first. Hate that we have to player her but if its in Hilton, I hope she at least for one night regrets leaving.

In the end she still did okay financially. I do think many woman's sports are seeing funding drained a bit. (See Alabama woman's hoops coach leaving for South Florida or some such place. Bama is putting more funds into football.) But your bigger name programs probably have funding. So interesting she was not more coveted

At some point, there's a difference between bag-chasing and bag-collecting. That's a big bag to secure, it's in the second category.

It's not that inconceivable to be a good player without a good fit, for whatever reason that might be. People make this argument way, way too hard.
You don't even need Audi's own opinion on it. Ask the rest of the team who transferred out how they thought the team fitment was going.

^ I think that will likely be the preseason predictions. The preseason Big 12 coaches poll will be interesting to see. Going to have to wait to see how the dust settles but so far only a couple of teams have made a splash in the portal and the Big 12's HS recruiting has been lagging behind the other P4 leagues. At this point I think the league will be even weaker than last year.
I trust anyone shaming Audi would never leave their own job if offered this kind of money, or any raise for that matter.
For 1.4 million I'd rather spend it on mbb.
I’m just amazed how fast a “fan” base can turn on a player. World we live in I guess. But I can almost guarantee not a single person on this board would turn down 1.4 million at age 21 to play one year of basketball at a different school
