IIRC These pledges were part of a matching proposal by ISU. When the NIL rules changed ISU pulled the proposed match funds.

Does anyone else question why we need a CEO of wrestling when we are struggling to come up with funds to cover revenue sharing? Dresser makes a sizable salary to not coach.
