Off-season 2026; Roster Needs/Portal

Maybe there’s a reason that doesn’t need to be made public.
This is most probably true. I think the problem is that where we’re at with college athletics is that programs are asking for people to be more invested than ever, especially financially. From what I’ve seen, that seems to come with expectations. Even though fans are not, I’m sure many feel like shareholders with a vested interest in the goings on with their investments. What an incredibly hard line to walk for programs.

Not surprised at all about Ech leaving. He's mid-20's with family obligations. I rather thought it would be for MMA or some other path just because I understand there are some weird rules regarding immigrants and NIL, so not sure how much he has been or could take advantage of that. If he can, I think it's a win/win. He can take some cash from somewhere else (hopefully not a rival) and we can use those funds to shore up need weights.

By all accounts he has become a model citizen/student and the bashing on here is really in poor taste.

If bashing a man who’s physically put his hands on a woman is poor taste, consider me the broke ass cab driver of taste.

Mostly because I don't want this thread to take a turn, I'll recant my last sentence. You are entitled to your opinion. I like to hear about people who take ownership, learn from mistakes and grow, but I'm not going to argue with you about it.
