That's obviously the much more prevalent scenario, but that brings to mind Rick Moranis. Loved him in Spaceballs, Ghostbusters, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, etc. His wife died in 1991 and he chose to focus on being a single father.

But he, and the rest of the cast, is coming back for Spaceballs 2! AND he's in a sequel to Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. Both are in post-production.

I'm going to go with Josh Hartnett. I wasn't a fan of Pearl Harbor but it was a pretty massive success at the box office and I figured his future as a leading man from there would skyrocket. He's done fine but I thought he'd end up being a much bigger deal than he has.

That's a good one. He's been in a ton of stuff in his early career...then fell off...now kind resurging with Oppenheimer and recent M. Night movie. But yeah I thought he would be massive. St. Paul guy...I know his sis.

Its hard to say he never made it big when he had main roles in justified, vice principals, the righteous gemstones, and most recently a huge role in Fallout. He is definitely great though

We just watched Sicario last night again. Might just be a top 25 movie ever made for me. It's so ******* good.

I think he stole the show in One Battle After Another too. Not sure what it was, but I wasn’t as keen on Penn’s role as everybody else. Maybe a little too over the top for me.
