Leon Bond just committed to the clones!!
I am beyond pumped about this pickup. Watching the MVC tourney I kept thinking if we transferred would love to see him at Iowa state. Great work TJ and staff. Huge pickup imo, type of athletic guard we need

No, he can’t create his own shot. I guess outside of the dirk fadeaway, which happens maybe once a game at most. Still a really good player and super valuable, but creating your own shot requires being able to take people off the dribble, which he can’t really do.
He can also be a ball handler. Best AST/T ratio in the country. KenPom top 30 offensive player.Huh? You must be talking about Manning from KSU. Prather is a wing with pretty good 3 pt shooting on good volume.
Do we have room for all 5? That’d mean Milan is gone yes? From what i have heard it will be a surprise if we dont land all 5 vistors this weekend
I saw a random post on X that listed ISU had 5 openings as of this morning. Rosters are now at 15Do we have room for all 5? That’d mean Milan is gone yes?
Not sure why this is a question? We’re always going to have room for as many as we need.Do we have room for all 5? That’d mean Milan is gone yes?
I was just curiousNot sure why this is a question? We’re always going to have room for as many as we need.
This is accurate - not saying it’ll happen but you could see another transfer (Mitchell) or a decommit, if necessary. TJ will get the guys he wants. Not sure why this is a question? We’re always going to have room for as many as we need.

Sure. I don't see it happening. I'd say he needs to figure out how to get to his spots, including a midrange game that we've seen in spurts, but hasn't been a focus. He's not going to take a guy off the dribble and get to the hoop, and he doesn't have to to be successful. But this is what scouts are going to tell him to work on if he wants a shot at the first round.
It's always funny watching these comps grow from one person to the whole board. He's not Emmanuel Sharp.Prather is Emmanuel Sharp 2.0

Ranked by who? He's a top 150 guy, not a top 50 guy.I would add that Batemon showed more slashing capability as the season went along and I think Wiggins has that in his game as well - people are sleeping on Wiggins, but he’s ranked about the same as Milan and Batemon and should be expected to play about as much as a freshman.
But he does have the ability to get open and shoot over people. Why are we discounting that he led the country in 3 pointers made? That is extremely valuable and someone you build an offense around. He was the 10th most efficient offensive player in the country, whether he's "creating his own shot" or not. We obviously still need a supporting cast, but it's insane to me how little people here value him as a player. He's not a product of a system. He is the system. No, he can’t create his own shot. I thought for sure he was somewhere around 50 - but it looks like I was wrong.Ranked by who? He's a top 150 guy, not a top 50 guy.
CF: Cries because team doesn't have enough 3pt threats. What exactly is our system? Lol. Our offense was based on Milan running around screens the entire possession. You guys are nuts. When we're in the middle of February, and we're complaining about not having guys who can score next year, we need to remember this conversation. Milan is a gifted shooter and scorer who changes every game he's in. This is a potential All American player we're talking about.
If Mitchell wants to stay on as a practice squad guy and try to earn a spot in the rotation, that's a win for us. And maybe him too, depending on what he wants. This is accurate - not saying it’ll happen but you could see another transfer (Mitchell) or a decommit, if necessary. TJ will get the guys he wants.
