Audi Crooks to Transfer

Please elaborate on why you THNK she is a partier? i would suggest you have FACTS before running your mouth on what you THINK is the truth. or are you just trying to start something to bring her down because you are upset for practically the whole team leaving?
I couldn't care less about the women's. Me passing facts along is simply that, I have no reason to make anything up and I don't need to elaborate on what i've said. You can use critical thinking

I actually know this of Audi also. I would say she is a typical college student. I know a girl on the womens soccer team and Audi is known as someone to get after it. In my opinion that is fine. She is a college student. i did my fair share of having fun with Fred Hoiberg back in the day. I think it was a little more acceptable back then. But yeah, Audi is known as someone who like to have fun living the college life/

Sounds like she is looking for a good party school that needs a good basketball player

seem to care enough about WBB to post on the WBB forum and criticize the team and Audi so you cant say you dont care otherwise you would be here. Audi is no different that any other player on the team when it comes to that aspect. feel feel free to say the team and dont just point finger at 1 player

One again we were the top team in the Big 12 for PPG and 12th in the nation for PPG. Audi getting the ball was the right move most of the time. By those metrics it was a great game plan.

We simply could not stop anyone from scoring. We were 285th in blocks per game, 172nd in FG % defense, 257th in scoring defense, 320th in Steals per game, and 261st in Turnovers forced per game.

The fact is our offensive game plan was boring but worked great, but we could never catch up if we got behind because the opponent would almost always get an effective shot every possession.
Our offense worked great as you say unless;

1) the opposing coach was not an idiot. Take Audi out of the game with double teams and make somebody else beat you
2) the other team had a tall athletic center

They were probably hot and cold because one game they were able to get up 3 shots and the next only 1. if they didnt have a ballhog on their team, they could've had the chance to be more consistent.

its 100% Bill's fault. His "force the ball to Audi every time down" gameplan was a horrible one and he never made adjustments.
You have an All American post player, you have get her the ball, that is the game plan. It's up to the other players to play off that fact. We had plenty of wide open 3 point shots this season, getting open shots was not the problem, making them was from one game to the next.
Now the ball did stick from time to time, it happens to most teams, the mens struggled with this at times also, but when you are wide open, and they were, they have to knock down the shots, which we did not do enough.

I mean part of it was the schedule. We played nobody in the non con outside of Iowa.
Agree based on our returning roster, our non-con was a head scratcher. I am sure CBF was counting on Indiana being a top 20 team. We never really got challenged by an elite team in the non-con other than Iowa. And got way too comfortable whipping on the St. Thomas' of our schedule.

I would hope she made AT LEAST 65% of her shots, when 90% of her shots were layups. FWIW, Blake Buchanan made almost 65% of his shots, and Dom Pleta was at 70%. Bigs should have a higher FG% than everyone else.

It's not a hard concept to follow... she was receiving star treatment, and her teammates got sick of that as the season progressed. She's a partier. Bill let things slide because of who she is. Female athletes get drug tested too. Put two and two together.
Both Buchanon & Pleta took a low volume of shots. Easier to hit a high % when you have luxury to take easy shots.

Audi took around 500 shots, hitting 65% is a high accomplishment.

Can't have it both ways. Milan's high 3 pt % was lauded because he took so many more 3's than other top 3 pt shooters.

If the other women resented Audi, maybe they should have been better with the 75% of team shots they took.

lol, WUT???? It was lauded because it was a record for percentage in a season. Was Audis a record for shooting percentage.

Terrible argument

So let's be clear. You don't think it's a bigger accomplishment to make a high% of shots when a player is a volume shooter?

Is that what I said? Not one bit. You tried to say Milan’s was lauded because he took so many shots, I disagreed and said it was lauded because what he did had never been done before. So I then asked that since you wanted to compare it to a record breaking situation, was Audis record breaking.

Milan's record was remarkable for 2 reasons:
  1. The percent made
  2. He took a lot of 3 pointers.
If volume doesn't matter, then why do most records include minimum attempts, at bats, etc. I never said Audi set a record, the point of my post was clearly her 65 percent makes on a high volume of shots is a big accomplishment. The analytics nerds would be touting Audi!

BTW Audi's 65percent makes was the 2nd highest among D1 players this season.

I get it, Audi hit the portal so some Cyclone fans have decided to cancel her accomplishments.

Boy you like to put a lot of words into other people mouths to create false statements to argument about.

Outside of Jada, our guards also couldn’t dribble under pressure, or break their opponent down and drive to the basket.
As soon as they were closely guarded they would pick up their dribble and look to pass to a teammate.
I hope Audi picks a team that has more advanced skills with their guard court.
