I’d say it’s time to make a trade and call up Wiggins but they’d leave the wrong guys in the rotation so it’s pointless.
I know it’s super super early, but Bregman has got to start to lock in at the plate. His bat is why we brought him in instead of leaving Shaw over there

Need to get Seiya back but thus far I have been less than impressed. You can tell when a team has "it" and I just don't see it with this team. At least in terms of being a serious Title contender.
Yeah, this looks like a wildcard team. I know that’s technically all you need to be able to win it all, but it definitely doesn’t feel like a “go for it” team. More like a “get by” team, although they’re worse than that at the moment.
And all of those .230 guys are hitting .150-.220 so far this year. Really rough start offensively.
His batted ball data is fantastic. Just horrible BABIP luck right now. I'm not worried about him at all.
Not great, not great at all. Kind of needed him to be an Ace all year to have a shot. When does Steele come back? I know it will be a while before he is truly 100% but damn does this team need some good news.
The second they reported he had tears when he coming off the field and that it was his forearm. Just knew it wasn't going to be good news. Brutal. Cubs/ISU fans are having terrible injury luck so far in 2026.
