**** Official 2026 MBB Spring Transfer Portal Thread ****

Business analytics major. Also academic first team all Big Xll. Wouldn’t be surprised if he carried enough credits in from HS to graduate in three years. I know this is old school thinking but a free year of grad school at Drake could come in handy.
I know if it was me, I'd be going to San Diego as opposed to staying in Iowa. A year of grad school.
I also thought the portal oversight group came out a couple weeks ago and said they were going to be aggressive in pursuing tampering.

I doubt it has changed contact behind the scenes, but no reason to go public until after portal opens on Tuesday.
i'm actually surprised we haven't heard anything from any of the women's signing today. I mean it's been total silence for the first day of the portal not just Iowa State but everybody.

Interesting story about Arizona loosing to Michigan, on CBS Sports. The main idea, Arizona ran into a team that was the same as them, except for 1 thing. The 3 ball. They were a poor long ball shooting team. The boss just took a big step in helping ISU becoming a better 3 ball shooting team team. If Mom comes back , he will need some help.

Makes sense. Arizona basically scored in the paint at will all season long. Michigan was the one team with the size, strength and athleticism to slow them down.

Michigan basically having a team of upper classmen was also concerning going into it with Arizona being reliant on two freshman starters.

#22 overall recruit and McDonald's all American a year ago. Lots of talent, maybe a change of scenery can get the best out of him.

Mick Cronin the other day on Cowherd said Michigan has two starters who would be getting time in the NBA IF they were there.

The money was better at Michigan.

Said the college game is monumentally different than just a couple years ago.

I’m still surprised to hear Mason Williams is likely leaving, I was so excited to see him play post injury recovery. Looked like a decent scorer at Eastern Washington. So are we just speculating transfers out are Mitchell (not totally surprising) and Williams plus Kelderman
