Yeah. There's actually a bar I go to once a month, they charge $7 for a 16oz tapper of spotted cow, ridiculous. But they upcharge all the FIBs and lake geneva people that go there. I only go there because it's across the street from where I get my haircut
No problem We'll be leaving next Friday and won't be back until the 4th of May. Three days after we get home we head to Lincoln for several days (granddaughter graduation). Maybe after that?

Mucky Duck is a pub down on south Duff; They serve fish & chips, bangers & mash, typical English pub food. They are just south of Casey's. They have a good selection of UK beers & ales (or so I've been told!). Lew & I usually get take out from them. I think @Ms3r4ISU is more familiar with their selection.

Because I never remember, looked up why Easter is always different day, then went down rabbit hole of the calendar and why it is the way it is and the history behind it. Pun intended. Interesting stuff.

I lived down off Crystal my last year at ISU and Chars was still open, used to have a sweatshirt from their. I cant remember when it closed but it has to be at least 15 years??
Now that I'm thinking about it, wasn't Char's a Casey's before they lost their franchise or something? Seems to me they struggled along for a few years after the new one opened. All I remember is that their Pizza was better than Casey's. I'd call from work & order it, and it would be done about the same time I got there. Funny thing - the commute through Ames from the NE corner of campus took as long as the commute from South Duff.
