I remember a commentary contrasting Johnny Orr and Rick Pitino. Rick Pitino had a NYC restaurant called Che Pitino. The commentator said "Imagine a Che Orr."
I read UConn fans stormed the court not appreciating the game wasn't officially over. That's supposed to be a T, but they said it's hardly ever called.
This is the point Yormark makes when he says basketball is under valued.
The tourney is definitely under valued. I don’t know when the contract is up but they should be getting a billion a year for it and I’m really not exaggerating.
Great numbers. It’s crazy that football gets all of the attention when basketball has close to or more total eyeballs because of the 3x inventory.
Quarterfinals in the CFP got 18-19m in viewers.
I like this camera angle though. Gives a good view of just how gigantic guys are, and why good looks are hard to come by.
I despise Uconn but I hope they roll Illinois by about 20.
