***2026-27 Mens College Basketball Thread***

Yes I'm watching the Crown.
OU scores to make it 50-51 Colorado, FS1 starts talking about how it looked like a Momcilovic shot. Then started talking about how Milan has a Dirk like game.
Surprised Colorado didn't back out after Rancik and Johnson announced for portal. Maybe OU is in the same boat, I don't follow them anymore

My goodness they’re letting things go in this NIT game. It reminds me more of a hockey game than basketball.

Maybe that Coon kid will follow Bennie mcsuck ?

"I have been told that Billy Donovan will not entertain a conversation with UNC until after the Chicago Bulls season is over...

I would expect names like Texas Tech's Grant McCasland, Vanderbilt's Mark Byington, and also lowa's Ben McCollum to be on (UNC's) list." - @JonRothstein

This is getting crazy, NIL is a runaway train.

So I was under the impression that foreign players could not get NIL? How is the German kid able to ask for that kind of money? Or is NIL different than the profit sharing from the school in that regard?

They got around the foreign thing. Not sure how, but they can get paid just like anyone else.

There is a finite amount of NIL. Only about a dozen teams can pay 5 mil for a single player. Maybe less than that. Some of these guys are going to end up sitting unsigned until they have to budge off their price and a bunch of teams are getting ready to sink like KSU and I for one am glad that TJ is building ISUs roster.

Saturday, April 4

5:00 (TBS) - Illinois vs UConn
~7:50 (TBS) - Arizona vs Michigan

Sunday, April 5
12:00 (CBS) - Gannon (PA) vs Lander (SC) [D-II final]
3:30 (ESPN+) - Emory (GA) vs Mary Washington (VA) [D-III final]
4:30 (FOX) - Crown final
7:00 (ESPN2) - Tulsa vs Auburn [NIT final]

Monday, April 6
7:50 (TBS) - NCAA Championship

Sooners, 82-69.

OU shot 50% FG, made 8 threes, went 14-16 at the line, and only committed 8 TO. Tough to win a game against that line.
