Off-season 2026; Roster Needs/Portal

To add to that, only 1 team not named Penn State had a portal finalist. Of the 6 portals in the top 40, Penn state had 2, Michigan had 2, Nebraska had 1, and Iowa had 1. All 6 from the big 10 and Michigan seems to have the best results from portal guys

All of this talk reminds me of the movie MoneyBall. I wonder if we hire a couple of computer geeks to come up with an algorithm on who we should go for based on experience, wins/losses, AA status, injuries , wrestling style, sitting on bench of another team and come up with a price? Conner Mirasola may be a good kid to grab as Barr has a couple more years?

I don’t see a world where the Mirasola’s split up.

If PSU gets Feldman like the rumors are saying, I could see Mirasola’s heading to Mizzou.

There was a TE at Miami for 9 years cause of all the med redshirts he had but i don't know if they changed that.
Miami tight end Cam McCormick said Thursday that he would return to play for the Hurricanes in 2024 -- his ninth season of college football.

McCormick, who began his career at Oregon in 2016, missed significant parts of four different seasons due to injury, which along with his redshirt year and the COVID year of 2020 allowed him to petition the NCAA for an unprecedented ninth season of eligibility.

He announced his return on X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday with the tagline "the pursuit of excellence has no goal line," calling 2024 his "last ride."

We need 184. Norman is 174 unless he moves up? Need Garvin and Knox for sure. Also need 197.

I was under the assumption that Garvin would want to go 174 next year which wouldn’t fit for us, but he must be willing to go 165 again.

We’d want Norman for 184 for sure.
