WBB: 2026 Transfer Portal

We have all had enough bad news. Let's just go outside and enjoy the nice spring weather.

Maybe it's not that more money came her way....maybe the locker room will be a happier/healthier place without some very big personalities sucking up all the oxygen.
Hello new member. Which student athlete are you, or student athlete’s family do you represent? ;)

This is why I wouldn’t be surprised if Bill now wants to coach a few more years rather than just one. It potentially makes finding transfers easier.
Have to agree. This makes a Fennelly contract extension even more plausible. How do you attract players with just one year left.

After the unmet expectations of the past two seasons in particular, there is a small part of me looking forward to a team with zero expectations.

Could be a refreshing change...flipping the switch as of NOW and the potential in the chase for portal talent.

I don't see how we're sniffing the tournament next season. We're forced to replace the following due to transfers, not loss of eligibility!!

Audi Crooks:
  • AP Second Team All-America (2026)
  • USBWA Second Team All-America (2026)
  • The Sporting News Second Team All-America (2026)
  • Unanimous Selection First Team All-Big 12 (2024, 2025, 2026)
  • AP Third Team All-America (2025)
  • USBWA Third Team All-America (2025)
  • AP All-America Honorable Mention (2024)
  • Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship All-Tournament Team (2024)
  • Big 12 All-Freshman Team (2024)
Addy Brown
  • All-Big 12 Second Team (2025)
  • All-Big 12 Honorable Mention (2024)
  • Big 12 All-Freshman Team (2024)
  • Big 12 Freshman of the Week (Jan. 8, 2024)
Jada Williams
  • First-Team All-Big 12 (2026)
  • Pac-12 All-Freshman Team (2024)
Having read through many posts, there is so much to digest regarding the current state of ISU WBB. I have not been a fan of Coach Fennelly's system for several years now. The roster turnover the past few years is also indicative that something is not right.
That said, I have decided the best thing is to hold judgement. As an earlier poster noted, Crooks, Brown and J. Williams have earned high accolades playing at ISU. Is this due to CBF putting them in position to accentuate their skills, sometimes to the detriment of the team? I am curious to see how each performs with their new team. I hope they continue to have great success as at Iowa State. But, if not, it would appear to me that CBF made them into the stars they are by his system.
